Driving licence test

You intend to drive straight ahead at the junction. Do you have an obligation to give way?

  • Incorrect: Yes, to both A and B.
  • Incorrect: Yes, but only to A.
  • Incorrect: Yes, but only to B.
  • Correct: No. A and B have an obligation to give way to me.

Around 3 seconds into the video, you can see this road sign on the right:

A29-1
Warning for a junction where road users on a connecting road are obliged to give way or stop (A29)“The sign indicates a junction where drivers of vehicles on connecting roads are obliged to give way or stop. The symbol is adapted to the conditions of the location.”

This means that both A and B have an obligation to give way to you.
