Is it true that rear fog lights may only be used in fog?
“When driving on a road, the rear fog lights may only be used in fog, heavy rain or comparable visibility conditions, and only in such a way that the driver of the following vehicle is not dazzled.” (Swedish Road Traffic Ordinance)
So the answer is not only in fog, but also in “heavy rain or comparable visibility conditions.”
