- A: Priority road = you do not have to give way (priority road sign, see image below).
- B: You have an obligation to give way to all traffic on the road (triangular markings on the road, see image below).
- C: Roundabout = you have to give way to everyone in the roundabout.
- D: Right-hand rule junction = you have to give way to the right, but not to the left. This is a right-hand rule junction, as there are no road signs indicating otherwise.
The triangular road markings are only used where there is an obligation to give way.
