Is it permitted to turn left in the situation in the picture?

  • Correct: Yes, it is permitted.
  • Incorrect: No, since the regulatory sign indicates that this is not permitted.
  • Incorrect: No, since there are no arrows painted on the road.

Keep right (D2)
The signs indicate that the vehicle may only drive past the sign where the arrow is pointing or, in the case of two arrows, where the arrows are indicating. The symbol is adapted to the conditions of the location.

The sign indicates that you must drive to the right of the island if you intend to drive straight on. However, it says nothing about what applies when turning left.
