The tricky part here is the word “treacherous”. Defined in Nationalencyklopedin as: “more complex or dangerous than it appears to be.”
Review of the options:
- When the road is in obviously poor condition.
– The risk is not hidden or more dangerous than it appears to be = not treacherous. - At the start of the icy period.
– You think you have a good grip when you do not = the risk is hidden = treacherous. - In the middle of winter, after several days of snow.
