It is true that the ‘No stopping or parking’ road sign ceases to apply before point A. However, this does not mean that parking and stopping are permitted at all places.
The Road Traffic Ordinance states that stopping and parking are always forbidden “on or in the vicinity of the brow of a hill” and also “in the vicinity of a bend where visibility is obscured”.
In this example, point A is both at the brow (the top) of a hill and on a bend where visibility is obscured. In other words, a double-prohibition applies.
