When is a lorry classified as heavy?

  • Incorrect: When the gross weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
  • Incorrect: When the unladen weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
  • Correct: When the total weight exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
  • Incorrect: When the maximum load exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
