Driving licence exam
This is an old question that is no longer in use.
Images may be missing and the information may be dated.
Do the priority road’s right of way rules also apply in the oncoming roundabout?
In a roundabout, the following always applies:
“A driver entering a roundabout is obliged to give way to every vehicle currently in the roundabout.” (Swedish Road Traffic Ordinance)
If the priority road’s right of way rules apply, the car in the picture may drive straight through the roundabout and all cars already there must stop and give way. This is in direct opposition to the roundabout’s basic principle, i.e. that you must give way to vehicles already in the roundabout.
This is an example of one of the driving theory questions at Körtkortonline.se. There are questions in two languages: English mock test, Swedish mock test
