Can the right-hand rule apply in this situation?
If there are no other right of way rules, road signs or lines, you should use the right-hand rule.
“The right-hand rule also applies when the paths of two vehicles intersect in an open area or similar location, for example, in a parking area or inside a petrol station.” (Driving Licence Book, 19th Edition, page 41)
