“A driver who is obliged to give way shall clearly show their intention to give way by slowing down or stopping in good time”. (Swedish Road Traffic Ordinance)
Just because the car’s brakes make it possible for you to drive at high speed towards the junction and then brake hard, it does not mean you should. Imagine what this would look like to the traffic on the intersecting road: they may think that you do not intend to stop, brake suddenly and cause a multiple collision.
Körkortonline.se offers driving licence theory tests in English (free demo test), Swedish (free demo test). This is an example of an explanation of a test question.
There is also a driving licence book online (2026).
