Warning for a junction where road users on a connecting road are obliged to give way or stop (A29)
The sign indicates a junction where drivers of vehicles on connecting roads are obliged to give way or stop. The symbol is adapted to the conditions of the location.

In all probability, this road sign means that you are not driving on a priority road. This is because this road sign would be considered unnecessary on a priority road. On a priority road, the ‘priority road’ sign is sufficient for you to know which rules apply.

If a priority road continues in an unexpected manner, this sign is usually used instead:

Direction of priority road (T15)

Why is this important to know? Intersecting traffic has an obligation to give way, regardless!
– It is important to know for future junctions. You do not have an obligation to give way at the next junction, but if you mistakenly believe that you are driving on a priority road, a hazardous situation could arise in 3, 4 or 5 junctions’ time. Mistakenly believing that you are driving on a priority road is not safe behaviour in traffic!

Is it 100% certain that I am not driving on a priority road?
– No, although it is highly likely that you are not. Either way, the road sign shown in the video does not indicate that you are driving on a priority road. Only the ‘priority road’ sign tells you that you are driving on a priority road:
