Theory questions
This is an old question that is no longer in use.
Images may be missing and the information may be dated.
You are standing still in the blue car, intending to continue straight ahead. How should you act, considering the red lorry that is turning into the road you are coming from?
Even though the lorry technically must yield in accordance with the right-hand rule, it is more appropriate and safer if you reverse a few metres to let the lorry pass. Strictly insisting on the rules is not desirable: you must display “good judgement when interacting with other road users.” (Swedish Transport Administration)
You could perhaps squeeze past the lorry, but as you must assume that the lorry is moving (“is turning”), you risk being hit by the lorry.
Körkortonline.se offers driving licence theory tests in English (free demo test), Swedish (free demo test). This is an example of an explanation of a test question.
There is also a driving licence book online (2026).
