You are driving the vehicle from which the pictures are taken. In which situations do you have to give way to all intersecting cars?

  • Incorrect: None of them.
  • Correct: B and C.
  • Incorrect: C and D.
  • Incorrect: B, C and D.
  • Incorrect: All of them.
  • A: Priority road = you do not have to give way (priority road sign, see image below).

  • B: You have an obligation to give way to all traffic on the road (triangular markings on the road, see image below).

  • C: Roundabout = you have to give way to everyone in the roundabout.

  • D: Right-hand rule junction = you have to give way to the right, but not to the left. This is a right-hand rule junction, as there are no road signs indicating otherwise.

The triangular road markings are only used where there is an obligation to give way.
