Is the trailer considered a light trailer if it is connected to the car?
✓
✗
With a regular category B licence, you are only allowed to tow a light trailer. The following counts as a light trailer:
- Trailer with a maximum total weight of 750 kg.
or - Trailer where the maximum total weight for car + trailer is 3.5 tonnes.
Does the combined total weight exceed 3.5 tonnes?
2100 kg + 1100 kg = 3200 kg = Under 3.5 tonnes
