The picture is taken from the car you are driving. How should you act if you want to turn right?

  • Incorrect: Wait until the traffic signal turns green.
  • Correct: Stop at the stop line and drive if the intersecting road is free of traffic.
  • Incorrect: Adhere to the right-hand rule.
  • Incorrect: Drive very slowly and seek eye contact with the drivers of any intersecting vehicles to then drive out when mutual understanding is established.

The problem is that the traffic signal appears to be not working (otherwise there would be some colour showing). It is then the road sign that applies. Stopping and waiting for the signal to start working may take several days!

The last option sounds good, but you are indirectly saying that you can drive out without stopping first, which is wrong.
