Driving licence test
This is an old question that is no longer in use.
Images may be missing and the information may be dated.
Do you always need to stop before driving out on the intersecting road in the situation in the picture?
“A driver who is obliged to give way shall clearly show their intention to yield by slowing down or stopping in good time. The driver may continue driving only if there is no risk or obstruction involved, with regard to other road users’ position, the distance to them and their speed.” (Swedish Road Traffic Ordinance)
You therefore do not need to stop if there are no other road users on the intersecting road that you would disrupt by driving out.
