Driving theory questions
This is an old question that is no longer in use.
Images may be missing and the information may be dated.
Are you allowed turn right?
In this case, you do not have to apply the priority order of road signs and signals, as they do not “contradict” one another. The traffic signal allows you to drive, but does not tell you anything about how. The road sign underneath it on the other hand expressly states that you may not turn right.
Green (SIG3)
”Vehicles may continue on straight. A green arrow indicates that the signal applies to the direction in which the arrow points. Vehicles may be driven in the arrow’s direction even if another signal is showing at the same time.”
No right turn in the junction (C25)
”This prohibition applies to the junction or similar location before or in which the sign is erected. The sign may relate to several junctions. In that case the distance is indicated on an additional panel. The symbol is adapted to the conditions of the location.”
