What does a catalytic converter do?

- The catalytic converter converts the harmful substances in the petrol into carbon dioxide and water through chemical reactions.
- 80–95% of the harmful substances disappear.
- The catalytic converter has a working temperature of 400-600°C, which means it takes a while before it works optimally.
