What is right of recourse?

  • Incorrect: That you can cancel a car purchase within 10 days.
  • Correct: That the insurance company is entitled to demand repayment of the disbursed money in certain cases.
  • Incorrect: That an accredited inspection company has to right to impose a driving ban on a car.
  • Incorrect: That everyone is entitled to an extract from the Road Traffic Register.

Right of recourse is an entitlement to reclaim a disbursed amount or part thereof from the tortfeasor in certain situations.” (Trygg-Hansa)
