Do school traffic wardens (children) have the right to stop traffic at pedestrian crossings?

  • Incorrect: Yes, if they have an orange jacket.
  • Incorrect: Yes, if the person is over 15 years old.
  • Incorrect: Yes, if there are children in the vicinity.
  • Correct: No.

There are very few people who have the right to control traffic (e.g. the police). Children/young people with limited training definitely do not have this right.
