  • Incorrect: Yes, as there is an opening in the solid line.
  • Correct: No, since the mandatory sign indicates that this is not permitted.
  • Incorrect: Yes, as there is no prohibitory sign.
  • Incorrect: No, since the road is a clearway.


Direction to be followed (D1)
The signs indicate that the vehicle may only be driven in the direction of the arrow or, in the case of two arrows, in either arrow’s direction. The symbol is adapted to the conditions of the location.

The mandatory sign is the only clear alternative. The other alternatives refer to more general matters and rules. Road signs take priority over rules.
