What should you pay particular attention to when you see these road signs?

  • Correct: The fact that there may be people with visual impairments nearby.
  • Incorrect: The fact that there may be people with hearing impairments nearby.
  • Incorrect: That there may be hazardous goods within 150 metres.
  • Incorrect: That there may be radioactive goods nearby.


Other dangers (A40)
The sign indicates dangers other than such that can be indicated with some other warning sign. The nature of the danger is specified on an additional panel.


Visual impairment (T9)
The panel indicates that people with visual impairments often use the crossing. This panel always has a yellow background.
