Theory test

Which statement is true if a vehicle comes from the right at the junction shown at the end of the video?

  • Correct: đź”’
  • Incorrect: đź”’
  • Incorrect: đź”’

There is nothing to indicate that this place is an exit. On the contrary, the road on the right has a street name, and the layout of the junction looks like that of a typical junction.

The turning rule does not apply in this situation (the turning rule would apply if there was an oncoming vehicle that wanted to cross over your lane in order to turn into the road on the right). Instead, it is the priority-to-the-right rule that applies:

“When the paths of two vehicles intersect with each other, drivers are obliged to give way to the vehicle coming from the right” (Road Traffic Ordinance).
