Around 2 seconds into the video, this road sign can be seen:
No overtaking (C27)
“The sign indicates a prohibition on overtaking motor vehicles other than two-wheeled mopeds and two-wheeled motorcycles without a sidecar. The prohibition applies on the road where the sign is erected and up to the place where sign C28, No overtaking ends, is erected.”
Shouldn’t the centre line be continuous?
– Sometimes a decision is made to not use a continuous line. One reason for this could be that the section of road is used by many cyclists, for example. The combination of the ‘No overtaking’ sign and a warning line means that you are permitted to cross this line in order to overtake a cyclist (as long as you have good visibility).
