I did my driving test for the third time today and its the most shocking test for me ever. I did my previous test and was unable to pass because of a two mistake that lead to a total failure. The inspector’s advice was to try correcting those one. Fine..... Today I drove with a female inspector for approximately 35 minutes and I know for certain all was fine but finally she took me to other mountainous places where even herself could find it difficult to drive through. As she was directing me through the street I sense her seriously looking for a fault. As we finally returned and parked, she awarded me fail and all the mistakes she high lighted were committed at the mountainous places. That was exactly what I suspected being her reason taking me to that area. It was a single mistake i was rectify for not scanning pedestrians but with her she recommended fail for almost every thing, ranging from traffic security, traffic rule etc. Funny that all those I did earlier and were perfect were marked fail... I felt not threated unfairly enough.
Personally I think they should drive for 2-3 hours so they can get a good overview, but that’s not how it works (sadly).
The longer the better.
The rule is that you have to drive for a minimum of 25 minutes, but I can’t find any information about the maximum time, I guess it depends on when the instructor has the next driving test. You can’t really appeal against the decision but if you are driving and booking the test through a traffic school you can bring you driving teacher into the car. You can also bring a parent or friend, someone you usually drive at home with. They instructors don’t always agree to have someone else in the car, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. If you have someone in the car with you while doing the driving test the instructor might not try to fail you on purpose, as it sounds like in your explanation of the test. Hope you succeed on your next test!
