Foreigner taking swedish driving license

Hello,

I will be studying full-time in Sweden starting September and wish to get my driving license while I’m studying there.
I have read that you can only take your driving license test when you have resided in Sweden for at least 6 months. Is this also true for the Theoretical test? (Or can I take the the theory part as soon as I want to?).
