They make you fail in Malmo Driving Test especially if you are foreigner

Unfortunately, especially at Trafikverket Malmö, many people feel that driving tests can be very strict and that even small mistakes may lead to failure. I personally know several people who failed because of what they believed were relatively minor mistakes.

For example, one of my friends was convinced that he had stopped properly at a stop line, but he was told that he had not stopped at all. Experiences like this make people question how objective and transparent the assessments are.

I also believe there should be clearer boundaries regarding recommendations for private driving schools, as this can create concerns about fairness and conflicts of interest.

No. They fail you if you’re a bad driver. Simple.

A lot of the time people claim they make ’simple’ mistakes, they are wrong or are lying. They don’t just fail you for no reason.

People are talking about inconsistent assessments, and you respond like a guy who thinks repeating “simple” makes him sound smart instead of just simple-minded.

Not every criticism is an excuse. Some of us can understand nuance without needing it explained with crayons.

I agree to this absolutely. As I did my driving assessments from 3 different driving schools and for 80-mins each with 47 hrs of driving practice. And all of them said no mistakes and I am ready for test. I have also tested my driving in Denmark and driving school is impressed with my skills. All theory cleared in single attempt

Attempted 4 tests and got failed with the below justification-

1. Blackening and Unprotected road user safety

2. Anticipation

3. Lane change and Lane management

I questioned to them on both the consequences, If on 40KM/h road I am driving at 32-36 just be sure that no pedestrian can suddenly jump on the road, isn’t that safety consideration, as you are failing me for driving slow.

And for second consequence when I was merging to motorway, I merged and analyzed the situation because there was a long vehicle just behind me and than overtake another vehicle in front, examiner gave me reason that I should have overtaken when I merged, and failed.

My theory validity expired for 2 times, I will be waiting to pass my theory for 3rd time now, invested more than 55K SEK. At this point we cannot step back, which driving schools knows well.

And the only reason is because we are foreigners and nobody respect your hard earned TAXED money that we are investing for our family and needs for commute and transportation.

I have also reported this to Embassy and will be publishing this as an article, Sweden don’t deserve to be part of Scandinavia culture, there is lot of improvement needed to treat equality and integrity (I am sorry to say this).

I am absolutely certain that I came to a complete stop. The speedometer showed **0 km/h**, which means the vehicle was fully stopped.

As a result, I failed the driving test.

I paid **1,940 SEK** for the driving test and around **5,800 SEK** for driving lessons. In total, I have lost approximately **8,000 SEK**, all because of a stop line where I am convinced I stopped correctly.

I am a software engineer and a mentally healthy person. If I clearly see that my car is stationary and the speedometer reads 0, then I know I have stopped.

As a foreigner who pays around **20,000 SEK in taxes to the Swedish government every month**, I find this treatment deeply unfair. I intend to discuss this matter with my country’s consulate and explore whether I can pursue it through the appropriate legal channels, including at the European level.

When you guys write that you are gonna contact ”country’s consulate” or ”Embassy”.

Its not like you guys have been wrongfully imprisoned or your human rights have been violated.

Well, at stop sign the rule or actually maybe more general knowledge that you should come to a total stop, wait check your trafic and drive, this means.. Stop sign, complete stop, wait 1 or 2 seconds and go (If clear)..

IF you went to the stop line, made sure you where at 0 and went, well... thats either you not looking at whats happening around you or not stopping long enough to make sure.

Remember, you hade time to check that you where at exactly 0.. So? Where did you look? Around you or to only make sure you stopped?

Do you see how the previous user, Håkan, writes as if he were a driving instructor? Is he a driving instructor working with Trafikverket in Malmö?

Instead of sitting here and replying to users’ reviews as if you were an ordinary customer, why don’t you, as Trafikverket examiners in Malmö, focus on giving fair and honest driving tests? Failing people unnecessarily and making them pay for additional tests should not be a way to generate income.

If you look at Google Reviews, Trustpilot, and other review websites, you’ll see that many people have had negative experiences with Trafikverket Malmö. Many candidates choose to take their driving tests in smaller cities such as Lund, Karlskrona, or Karlshamn because they believe they have a better chance of being treated fairly there.

Instead of replying to reviews here pretending to be regular users, why not focus on conducting fair and honest examinations?
