Railway crossing

I have driving in Falun on Monday. I wonder about the railway crossings there, especially the one below:

There is a traffic light here, say it’s green but the railway shows red so, you have to stop. Where should you stop? Before the pedestrian crossing at traffic light or just before the railway crossing? In the latter case, you’d be blocking the intersecting traffic.

Any comments, please!

I guess that if the railway crossing signal shows red, the traffic signal for traffic approaching the railway crossing would show red light too, otherwise vehicles approaching the railway crossing would be stopping in the junction if they have to stop before the railway crossing, and then block the junction for intersecting traffic when the intersecting traffic has green light.

Not true. pls don’t listen to this guy OP. ALWAYS stop at just before the railway crossing no matter the lights.
