I failed again

Today I failed again. Two reasons given;
1-) Going 100 at 110 on right lane in a rainy day was a mistake seems like I was slow. I don’t buy this but according to examiner it is a huge mistake.
2-) Going 60 on a 70 road on right lane is too fast because of security.
I asked are you serious and yep I failed again. Asked me to comeback with a driving school?!!
My other try also failed and reason was,
A pedestrian jumped to road that made me to do complete stop(30km road) guy literally in front of my buffer and according to examiner I should not stop that puts traffic risk. Well I asked what did you expect a hit and run? She was not happy with that question and told me stopping is putting risk the all traffic and I can’t judge her calls?!

So now I don’t buy when people says this is fair from my book either they have some agreement with driving schools or this is just pure racism.

Anyhow is this exams recorded and can I create a formal complaint in somewhere? I am planning to do that after I pass this.

I feel bad for you! But I think you need to practice a little bit more and don’t stress about it. You’ll pass the test one day, you need to drive more and think about that safety comes first. Some examiners are stricter than others, there’s also a reason why they’re strict because they wouldn’t let anyone who aren’t ready, get a drivers licence!

If examiner mentions a driving school you can use to improve skills then it is obviously rigged. You can always leave a complaint but you are not able to appeal the driving test.

OP, try to think if that make sense or not.

1) You know motorways doesnt have pedestrians or cycles, you dont have roundabouts or intersections so what are you careful about?! if you are travelling at 100 with 110km/hr limit, you are hindering other vehicles and making situation risky for them. So, try to adapt your speed.

2) On the roads with 70km/hr limit, you can get pedestrians or cycles crossings, roundabouts, intersections, so why take risk when the situation demands you to be careful. It very well make sense to be careful and drive slower than normal when the situation demands you to, in your case you said it was rainy.

Always remember its not just YOUR safety, you have to be careful & mindful about others. Hope this makes sense.

Examiners are bottom feeding cretins, there is a reason their job is sitting in cars all day. Hint: it’s not because they are among the best and the brightest.

Examiners are unfair and they always find a way to fail your attempt. Better fail than approve is their mantra. Its a shame for Sweden and Trafikverket. Actually I am now thinking of emmigrate from this shithole of country.

Well, I am focusing on my practice now. Just give it another try. Let’s hope for the best!

Well, failing people makes them rich that’s why, they make nervous people fail !

A couple of thoughts based on your experince:

Driving too much below the speed limit on a motorway can increase the risk of accidents. Part of being ready for a license includes being able to judge other traffic, weather and the performance of the car in the specific conditions. 100 on a 110 road can be both too slow and too fast depending on the situation. I doubt that this was by itself enough to make you fail, but it could be part of the reason.

Driving 60 on a 70 road can in the same way be way to fast depending on the situation at that specific time.

And if you had to make a hard break at a 30 road, it can by itself be a reason for failing. The 30 limit is telling you that there is a risk of unexpected situations, like a child running out on the street. You need to watch out for potential risks, also from the sides of the road. You did not fail because you stopped to avoid hitting the person, you failed because you had to make a hard break because you did not foresee the situation.

In what way would it make them rich to make people fail?

I happen to regulary work next door to a test centre, so I see quite a lot of driving tests (or at least the start, end and first and last minutes of them). And only from what I have seen, it is clear they do not need to fail people who know how to drive in order to have enough work! I never stop being surprised at what the drivers under test are able to do while thinking they are ready for a driver license!
