Driving confusion

Hi all, Just out of curiosity how far from a turn the examiner will ask/say one has to take a turn?
Also, you, as a driver, when do you like to start mirror mirror blind spot indicate procedure?

The examiner will do it and explain what you have to do in good time, they will not make a split descision on what you should do next. They usually dont say ”make a left turn” but usually say drive towards ”location” and you will have to follow signs and do the turns to get you there.

And you will have to check the blind spot etc as you usually would, wich would be something like check blindspot, turn on signal as soon as you passed any other parkinglots etc to avoid confusion, then you check again just before making the turn.
