I have both app taköra kort or körkortonline app and question may i use both study and make a question do you believe i can mange teory exam?
Driving in Sweden is primarily common sense...Do un to others as you would have them do un to you.
I primarily used the körkortonline and, as someone previous mentioned, you can’t just look at the pictures...YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND the WHY of the problem. For example, if you were riding a bicycle on a pedestrian/bike pathway and came to an interrupted pedestrian cross walk...What are your obligations and what would you want the cross traffic to do? You not only need to learn the rules for vehicles, you also need to learn the rules for bicycles/electric scooters, and for pedestrians.
While I ordered the books (used/online) I rarely opened them except for when I wanted more clarification for something I did not agree with in the online test.
When you do your driving test, the tester will secretly be watching that you check your mirrors. When making ANY turn ALWAYS make sure to look over your shoulder and not just check the mirror. When driving without making any turns, they will want to make sure you are keeping aware of traffic around you. When approaching a marked pedestrian cross walk, they will want to make sure you have checked for someone ’possibly’ about to enter the cross walk (I say possibly because if the view to the entry points are blocked, you need to slow down a little and show that you are cautiously looking for pedestrians about to step into your path). What I did, was whenever I looked in one of my mirrors or checked an entry point...I said it OUTLOAD. The first 2 times, I said ”Kolla Vänster, Höger”. After that I just said outload ”vänster, Höger,Bakom” to let them know I was always looking even if I didn’t move my head much. And when turning...LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER.
The trick to passing the written test is understanding the physics behind a motor vehicle and close examination of the pictures they provide. How should I drive on a wet/icy/dry road? What do I need to be aware of when driving in fog/rain? What are the rules ”I”/pedestrians/cyclists must obey (because they do throw some thought provoking questions at you)? Looking at the pictures, does the traffic crossing your path, do you have to yield or do they? What are you Rights/Obligations when on a priority road? If the road narrows...Who has right of way?
On my test, there was one question about the right of way of traffic entering the road on the left where there was no yield sign, but on the road, there were triangles indicating that the traffic on the left had to give way to me.
Sweden is NOTORIOUS for having signs/markings/rules EVERYWHERE so there is no room for misinterpretation. Look for the signs, or lack of, and understand the why of the rule and you’ll pass both the written and the driving test the first time, like I did.
