Practical driving test in English

Hi folks,

Just wondering if it’s possible to have an English practical driving test. I know a bit Swedish but English would be better given the stressing environment during the test. Has anybody tried to have practical driving tests in English?

Do you need to call Trafikverket to take your practical exam in English? I don’t see the option when booking it in their website

No need to do that. Just tell the inspector when you meet them

In my previous experiences, some traffic instructors suddenly become rude or stop smiling like when they greet you for the first time and you say you are not good in swedish and if they could switch to english.

Noticed that their attitude changes suddenly and they get quite uncomfortable making the student uncomfortable. At least this was my experience after 3 failures. Not all are like this but I had 2 out of 3 like this. This stressed me more and I failed.

Does any body know knoe what i should do after taking the eye test?

Don’t worry, you are not the only one. I didn’t have mine yet but I heard from lot’s of people that this kind of behavior is ”normal”.

Same here. I would say the inspector was very rude and a bit racist too. After the test, she was too impatient to explain why I failed and literally just ran away.
