English at driving test

How does it work during the driving test? Translator? I can’t speak Swedish very well :/

How often do you come across swedes that don’t speak English?

Besides, there is really minimal talking required. He/she will only need to say go left, go right, park there.

You don’t need to worry actually.. the driving inspector will ask you or you can tell him you prefer English. I did see this in person few asked Swedish or English

The test that I failed, the instructor refused to give the instructions in English when I requested. Still OK as I can understand some Swedish (just that I did not want to take chances). But on the way he kept mumbling and had accent that unfortunately, I am not used to!
