Question, why does it STOP sign place under Traffic light together in many Swedish junctions?

Question, why does it STOP sign place under Traffic light together in many Swedish junctions?

They put the stop sign there so if the light stops working you default to the sign, so if it was an upside down triangle (give way/väjningsplikt) you would default to that if the light wasn’t working
