The fact that you may not turn right is indicated by these road signs:


Direction to be followed (D1)
The signs indicate that the vehicle may only be driven in the direction of the arrow or, in the case of two arrows, in either arrow's direction. The symbol is adapted to the conditions of the location.


No entry (C1)

Because you are driving on a one-way road, you have no oncoming traffic. The Road Traffic Ordinance states:

When turning left, a vehicle shall be driven as close to the centre of the carriageway as possible, or, on a carriageway with one-way traffic, as close to the carriageway’s left edge as possible.

Position A is as close to the carriageway’s left edge as possible, and the road layout also means that your turn will be considerably easier than if you use position B.
