Up-to-date driving theory

Our driving theory is current and updated for 2026. By that we mean that we have no outdated content. Traffic rules and road signs change rarely, so most of the updates we make are improvements and clarifications.

There is no indication that the Swedish Transport Agency and the Swedish Transport Administration replace every question at the turn of each year. That would be a risky strategy, because the questions are carefully chosen. The real exam contains 70 questions, but only 65 of them count towards your score. The 5 extra questions are trial questions that are evaluated before being introduced as real ones.

In driving theory, getting the law right matters. Small, careful changes are preferable to sweeping updates. Körkortonline.se keeps its own internal database of legislation and court rulings in the driving licence field, which we use to quality-check our content. See a few selected examples.

1000 questions = the right amount

If you are into quizzes about politics or sport, there is a point in having a very large number of questions and new ones all the time. You might use the same quiz site for decades, and things happen in the world every day that can be turned into questions. Driving theory is different. You study for a fairly short period, and the chance of new rules appearing while you study is small.

Our 1000 driving theory questions are carefully selected and tested. When we add a new question, we remove an existing one that our internal systems have flagged as weak (perhaps too easy).
